The Psycho-Serpent

The Biscione Serpent rebirths the divine Filius, who passes through
 the ring-pass-not or golden crown, portal into the next kingdom.

The Psycho-Serpent.

O writhing Creature of the Id,

Orphic Egg born and fire bred,

my Spirit elemental inside,

Ouroboros of the churning mind.

~

Devouring its tail of ignorance

into its head, Ego conscience;

slowly turning green to gold,

nature unearthing its unearthly Soul.

~

Psycho-Serpent of life's essence,

forges its Pearl of transcendence;

the mind through metamorphosis,

changes thinking into a higher gnosis.

~

Wisdom in the form of a Snake,

Sophia, Isis, Lady of the Lake,

by understanding evil and good,

climbs the Tree to a better World.

~

We all suffer the spirit disease,

psychosis, the break from Reality;

Heaven is real, Earth but a cage,

the fallen Dove must make its escape.

~

White to red the Phoenix burns,

the holy fire no cage can intern;

quintessence processed and refined,

Spirit spreads wings, transcends time.

~

And so the Earth is left behind,

chthonic Creature is no-longer blind;

sheds the old skin of the Id,

then self-immolates its Ego-head.

~

The Pearl emerges, truth ashine,

Serpent raised and crowned divine;

devours itself whole unto death,

rebirths me from its fiery breath.

~

Mother of wombs, Matrix of All,

gestating the Sun, golden Orb;

completing her process of immanence:

nature's Homunculus, born of flames.

The Homunculus or divine Filius, created in the alchemical

vessel of the hermetically-sealed mind; the product of nature's

alchemical wedding, the union of opposites. The recipe usually
starts with semen, the prima materia or primal matter of
instinctual/libidinal energy, the id of the fiery animal-spirit,
the magic dragon who forges the Child of Heaven.

Penetrate with wisdom the sky,

with the Obelisk, the pointed mind;

concentration is found to be natural,

the quantum Point inside us all.

~

Then there's the Basilisk or snake,

the quantum Wave or diffuse state;

the need to be everywhere at once;

for being connected is our essence.

~

At first this leads to con-fusion,

One light spread in all directions;

Christ on the cross of sacrifice,

showing the way to eternal life.

~

Fusion in God is paradoxical,

omnipresent yet also individual;

"all" into One and one in All,

the secret of rising from the fall.

~

Thus the magic wand, Caduceus,

reconciles the nature of two spirits;

male and female, orb and wings,

goal orientated and multi-functioning.

~

And so the Flow becomes holy wine,

intoxication of communion divine;

and the Particle of individuality,

penetrates the circle into Singularity.

Waking up to winged Being

Thinking is a waking dream in which we sleep,

and conform we do to the story as it takes shape.

Obey the script and play the role;
put on the mask and sell your Soul.

~

Like an actor-slave who cannot escape his part,
we live the lie and from reality depart.

Our conditioning a thinking-dream does weave,

and from its net the sleeper cannot leave.

~

Samsara's spell upon the mind is cast,
and most do fall from truth into its grasp.

How from this nightmare can the dreamer wake,

when "all the world's a stage" for players' sake?

Enter the Starman behind the scenes;

a fiery figure not easily seen.

Loving, bold, and spontaneous,
he steals the show with pure Presence.

~

He falls not into the sleep of ideation,

plays no role nor takes a station.
He is the light who sees the dream of thought;
the Lucid One inside the dream not caught.

~

Free from form, and world transcendent,

he sees no point in false pretension.

Cutting the story, burning the script,
he shatters duality with Oneness's Kiss.

The Word emerges from unconsciousness,

spirit resurfacing from the depths;

but when it does it disrupts my world,

"brings fire upon the earth," down hurled.

Hu-mans "of the soil" prefer a cool breeze,

the spirit of a lapdog, than a Dragon freed;

but the wind of "baptismal fire" restless sleeps;

to flame-forge the Pearl it must make haste.

"Narrow is the gate to life, and few find it,"

for such is the wormhole of the Holy Spirit;

it destroys mental matter, the beliefs that divide,

replaces them all with a One Word shine.

That's why religions undergo fragmentation,

for they are based on human interpretation;

truth itSelf is the silence of the Word,

"no mind has conceived, no ear has heard."

And where is this "fire" that creates my Soul,

the Kundalini Serpent of which the Hindus told;

psychic energy rising from the unconscious,

libido and mortido forging Love out of lust?

~

You can feel it in yourself viscerally,

the burning passion of the spirit set free;

but who can tame this Dragon of fire,

instead of "acting out" to appease its desire?

~

How strange it is, this ambiguous Beast,

a Creature which on materiality feasts;

but also it has a much higher calling,

from fire to Light of a new Sun dawning.

Alchemical Solification

Solification

The non-dual, sun-like Son,

born of fiery pneuma,

shines in Space

creating and destroying duality.

~

The forest of me, which he grew,

he now burns and blackens.

My thought-scape is laid waste

before the flaming Eye of God.

~

But the Son still shines on the desert horizon.

The solar-disc of destruction

beams me up on high

into his saving presence.

~

Alien Spirit (consciousness),

having crash-landed in mental matter,

spirals in on itSelf,

coalescing in Self-reflective solification.

~

Heaven heaves the holy spiration of Soul,

whose wholographic countenance

glistens in the primordial ocean

of Supreme Being.

Setting the Spirit On-Fire!

Raise the Serpent on the staff of spine,

to activate the Spirit on-fire divine;

Kundalini burning in my mind inSpired,

alchemical Dragon tamed from the wild.

~

InSpiration has always been a mystery,

assigned to madmen, artists, the holy;

it uncoils from the spiral Seed of Word,

planted in unconsciousness to be heard.

~

And so it lies dormant until activated,

the Gnostic scintilla or spark creative;

but who is happy to burn with this flame,

from the "Burning Bush" of God's "I Am"?

~

Holy Spirit speaks in "tongues of fire",

endarkens the Soul to lift it higher;

the Black Sun rises from my ego ill,

ebony Pearl from the Dragon revealed.

~

Nigredo is the wormhole to Space,

if only I can bear death's embrace;

mortido is the reversal of libido,

the life-force set on-fire, all aglow.

~

Salamander-Spirit frolics, Shiva dances,

to the invocation of the Holy Ghost;

make sure all archetypes are integrated

before your house is incinerated!

~

The holy smoke will rise to Heaven,

Spirit freed from human situations;

"true vine" of inSpiration from the Seed

fire-forges the Light of solar alchemy.

~

Symbolic Tree of the climbing process,

by Serpent-fire is burnt unto ashes;

shedding the "old skin" by immolation;

final breath of alchemical sublimation.

~

The Tree-stump of good and evil dying,

left behind by the winged Orb flying,

symbolizes the end of green immanence,

turned into Gold, our Stone transcendent.

The Animal Spirit of the Dragon

The crowned alchemical Dragon as ouroboros,

churning and sublimating the life-force,

from horns into Crown transmogrified.

The Animal Spirit in the mind

is the libido or life-force divine;

striving blind to reach the Sun,

flowering forth from horns to Crown.

~

It's not my ego who enters Heaven,

he's just a fabrication of mental reason;

but God's Creature inside each of us

churns the Star of the Ouroboros.

~

This Pearl or Dragon-Sun ashine,

gestates inside baptismal fire;

who can bear this immolation,

sublimate sublime into Solarization?

~

Only the Id can dance in flames,

born of the Orphic Egg ablaze;

the Salamander-Spirit is not consumed,

but my ego is blackened and subsumed.

~

Thus the need to tame the Beast

who guards life's beauty on her quest;

Queen of immanence births the Soul,

a kiss transforms, green into Gold!

~

God-zilla of creation and destruction,

cosmic Snake of regeneration,

survives the vicissitudes of hisstory,

resurfaces again in modern mythology.

~

Dragon, Spirit-Animal par excellence,

fire-forges the true Pearl iridescent;

from unconscious waters the Sun does rise,

the plumed Serpent into Heaven's sky.

The Alchemist distils and refines the 4 elements

into Quintessence, the Nectar of immortality.

The Magical Reappearance of the Winged Sun.

Take the Seed of the human, our stone unrefined,

and separate it into four parts of the mind;

once each is sublimated sublime and realized,

they mix back together into Quintessence divine.

~

Two Serpent-Spirits, male and female essence,

conduct this instinctual process of immanence;

chthonic earth sprouts airy wings of desire,

chaotic water will be heated into holy fire.

~

Visceral earth, the dexterity of the sensations,

is the practical skill for grounding the operations;

without it the mind becomes spacey with conceit,

premature transcendence before the work is complete.

~

Emotional waters swirl in the libidinal Seed,

planted in earth the Spirit-Vine must grow free;

unconscious churning of so many charged feelings,

positive and negative needs, in need of healing.

~

Rational air gives a taste of the transcendent,

aloof, clear-minded, a vision over the horizon;

it lifts-up the mind from the muddy waters,

gives space for the flowering of the golden Lotus.

~

Intuitional fire forges the Stone of Light,

by blackening and whitening the Seed calcines;

through fiery death the Phoenix is reborn,

into blissful fusion the four are restored.

~

"New Wine" of reddening Quintessence now refined,

needs a "New Skin" of the heavenly kind;

into the golden Cup of the sol-like Soul,

the Spirit-Serpent sheds into a Sun behold!
