Glycon
~
Who has fallen into the underworld,
if All is God in immanence held?
Spirit stuck in a material mind,
sleeping Dragon dreaming blind.
~
Which human can tame the Beast,
instinctual Creature in all asleep?
It can be woken, and fire raised,
but who can bear baptismal flames?
~
The Giant sleeps with his crown,
in pure resplendence all around;
containing all the kingdoms wild,
green unto gold to be reconciled.
~
Slowly waking stirs the Dragon,
the Serpent King in his wisdom;
into a "Burning Tree" all aflame,
the way to Heaven there to climb.
~
Atop the Tree a golden Star,
the Angel to who we all aspire;
be the climber, "true vine" awake,
Glycon, Kukulkan, canny Snake.
~
Pen-dragon plumed and mighty,
scaly one who scales the heights;
kundalini power of libidinal passion,
creative force in nature flowering.
~
And so the Sun-Pearl is fire-forged,
"of the waters", baptized born;
the Sol-like Soul lifted on high,
"Lapis elevatus cum vento", to fly.
