Roman divine winged Fascinus.
~
The Fascinating Fascinus,
and the neo-masculine Warrior.
~
What can one say about this Penis,
the divine winged and erect Fascinus;
what were the Romans trying to say,
about the Spirit of the masculine way?
~
Nowadays men are so emasculated;
the warrior image is well outdated;
what is our role in modern society;
how do we express neo-masculinity?
~
The instinctual roles based in libido,
for women are much the same as old;
to give birth and nurture offspring,
create a loving home, and be supporting.
~
Most men no-longer take up weapons,
to protect family, and hunt sustenance;
but the killer instinct is still all there,
inside the mind to conquer our fear.
~
It can be sublimated to a higher cause,
the spiritual quest of the warrior born;
the Monster of death has not vacated;
an army of Aliens in the sky awaits.
~
Manna from heaven is sorely in need,
to be brought back for our lives to feed;
protection and maintenance of the peace
requires us to take on the inner Beast.
~
I've been to the war in the alien sky,
the great god of Mars he will not die;
the Saurian attack hovers right above,
threatens to disintegrate those we love!
~
The battle with these Beings on high,
can only really be won if we reconcile;
then Manna can be traded for the "Seed,"
the harvest of which is why Aliens invade .
~
The new warrior with phallus winged,
confronts the Creature in his dreams,
brings back secrets from the divine,
the Food we need is love's sweet wine.
~
In return the Alien is also enriched,
by the "Seed of Word," Jesus preached;
for only humans can grow the Flower,
the golden Lotus that gods devour.
~
But in the end it will be truly known,
we are the Aliens the Seed has sown;
like Christ, "we are not of this world;"
the Fascinus points to a higher realm.
