The Silent Watcher in the Cloud

"Out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword.
His face was like the Sun shining in all its brilliance."

My depiction of the egoic mask or persona,
and the seemingly invisible Light of the true Self/Soul,
the quantum Individual (pointing and waving) 
dawning out of unconscious waters.

The gap between two thoughts
is the secret entrance point,
into the mounting wave of silence,
that drowns-out thinking into peace.
~
The quantum Watcher in the waters,
watches out for false intruders:
the thinker, believer, and time keeper,
the ego formed of mental matter.
~
My conditioning, spun out of sensory data,
emotionally-charged patterns or schemata,
coalesce to form the persona's mask,
behind which the blazing Sun doth bask.
~
Thus the ego in time's separation,
believes in past and future notions;
is trapped inside ideas and stories,
the dramas of our daily worries.
~
Who can break this thinking spell,
and in the "Cloud of Unknowing" dwell;
where the Watcher of sheer clarity
shines away the conceptual identity.
~
The silent Self or Sun of fusion,
is the Watcher for time's intrusion;
in truth the tick-tock of twoness lies,
the Watcher's watch says "Now's the time."

My sol-like Soul, born of the unconscious,
rises-up baptized from the ocean;
dawns in the meditator's empty mind,
winged Orb from time's matrix realized.
~
Shining Stone forged of philosophic fire,
gold of the alchemist's one desire;
slowly burns away false pretense,
reveals the true Light of pure Presence.
