Two mighty mythological events in the fifties,

set the scene for the flowering sixties:

the Alien invasion of our earth began; and

the atomic Godzilla, return of the Leviathan.

Now the Alien must ascend unto SpAce,

having distilled the Wine of human essence;

for God awaits the sacramental libation,

the return of the "Word" of the Holy Spiration.

Having been cast into unconscious waters,

God sent his Pet, God-zilla, to save all of us;

a Saurian Creature from the depths,

the instinctual id rising up to the surface.

Devouring this world as his eucharistic feast,

the Alien-Christ is a real Wonder-Beast;

wise Serpent with his alchemical fire,

turns leaden thoughts into a golden desire.

There he is, before my very own eyes!...

the Sun now sealed in my void-like mind;

born in the fifties from an atomic breath,

behold, the Solarization of consciousness.
