The Heavenly Marriage

Marriage of Sun and Moon, Rosarium Philosophorum.

"The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness

The Heavenly Marriage.

~

Crystalline Lucidity must now be coalesced,

so my Spirit never falls again to Earth;

"watch your thoughts" in order to dissolve

thought bubbles, back into the Salt of old.

~

Raise-up again the "seed of the Word,"

the Logos or pneumatic Spirit learned;

but this time without ideational form,

in the clear Fluidity of Mercury borne.

~

Instinct becomes intuition, seed to Flower,

Spirit of the Rose the Sun now devours;

the watery Moon distils its reflectivity,

airy Mercury on fire for the Light to see.

~

In the bridal chamber of holy matrimony,

Luna turns to blood for her one and only;
alchemical Rubedo of Love and Light,
Seer and projection together ending time.

~

Gold shines so pure in all its perfection,

Sulfur, the Sol like Soul, has no reflection;

the flaming Sun cannot see its own Sight

in lower human darkness burning bright.

~

That which "sees" is That which is unseen,

projecting itSelf in order to awaken;

One, everywhere here, yet nowhere found,

the trinity of Soul in quantum Ground.

~

The Solarization of consciousness dawns,

as I circumambulate the Self unformed;

so blinding I cannot see my Imago Dei,

except in the magic mirror of Mercury.

~

The fiery Wind must be contained,

Logoic pneuma, Word in a Salt memBrane;

with a silvery sheen of fluid Mercury,

Luna fixes Sulfur's shining Solidity.

~

Spirit of the Dragon spreads wings to fly,

with salty Pearl, on elemental Earth refined;

Moon, mercurial Silver coagulates Red,

to kiss the Sun of Gold, heavenly marriage.
