Eye of Dragon.
(my secret alchemical recipe)
~
Earthy salt to be crystallized,
id into a glassy Sphere of mind;
water pressure, libido, sublimates
before airy ideas can inflate.

Thought-bubbles magically appear,
conjured-up by thinking power;
energy-filled boundaries conceived
from pneumatic ether all around.

Breathe up air into secret fire,
focally converge libido's desire;
into the void by way of mortido,
animal Spirit becomes Ideal Soul.

Bridge of ego-identity burns,
cross of sacrifice into Self reborn;
Dragon fire-forges between my ears
its Pearl of Wisdom now appeared.

opening up to Heaven's sky;
a transcendent vision pure,
my Soul to see for ever-more.

In Stoic philosophy pneuma is the concept of the "breath of life," a mixture of the elements air (in motion) and fire. Originating among Greek medical writers who locate human vitality in the breath, pneuma for the Stoics is the active, generative principle that organizes both the individual and the cosmos. In its highest form, the pneuma constitutes the human soul (psychĂȘ), which is a fragment of the pneuma that is the Soul of God (Zeus). As a force that structures matter, it exists even in inanimate objects.
