Apocalypse.

~

Few mortals can survive his wrath, and withstand

the incandescent breath of the immortal Vulcan.

The "violent wind" of his holy spiration

blows on my brow an apocalyptic revelation.

~

Having philosophized my ego to the void-like abyss,

I take the quantum leap into higher Awareness.

Will Christ's divine chariot save my fall?...

I allow the gap between thoughts to widen abysmal.

~

At absolute Zero glistens the golden-crowned One;

his wholographic Presence in a mightier KingDome.

This Realm on high, and its Ruler everywhere inside,

is the quantum Cathedral of an uncreate Mind.

~

Seeming emptiness of SpAce, buddhistic Sunyata,

contains the solitary Soul, the ascetic-like Master.

The Ace in SpAce is the universal SkyWalker;

the archetypal grand-Being; the Ancestor of all.

So, you are the Monster, the Godzilla I fear;

the Alien in SpAce, the Stranger so near;

the Hound of Heaven's heave, breathing down my neck;

the "Black Dog" depression, the Scythe of darkness.

You are the Luciferic Light of a sun-like Christ;

the burning One, Agni; Rome's Vulcan ignite;

the alchemical Black Sun, Sol Niger, death-Star divine;

the Ra-like Raven, in the Valley of the Shadow, ashine.

The Myth of the Word

The horned Piper at the gates of dawn, Pan,

blows forth the airy sound of creation.

The Myth of the Word.

What can words say about the Word;

the background Silence and ground of Being,

without which nothing could be heard,

and our roots no "Rock of Ages" sustaining.

~

Its Seed is planted in unconsciousness,

and sprouts the "True Vine" of the Spirit;

alchemical Prima Materia is its basis,

the green stone or apple we must digest.

~

It grows the Tree of good and bad times,

the dualistic environment in which we're born;

female and male, life and death, intertwine,

'til the golden Apple or refined Stone dawns.

~

Thus green consciousness floods the Earth,

with eddies of chaotic striving;

until the Sun-like Son finally emerges,

above ancient Seas of subconscious churning.

~

Green into Gold, stone carved into a Stone,

creates the quantum Solid of the Soul;

transmogrification of horns into a Crown,

the glyph of the Word remembered whole.

~

And how it shines on the far horizon,

of my thought-scape burned and dark;

for fire into Light is the transformation,

green Dragon forges the Pearl of the art.

~

Its fiery breath turns itself into black,

then ashen white before the morn;

Heaven's Sky reddens with the wax,

as the golden Orb the night adorns.

~

The green Beast of instinctual ignorance,

partly wants to regress back into sleep;

struggles with the giant Sun of brightness,

the eternal Day born from its keep.

~

Life's ebb and flow of primordial motion,

waving back and forth across shifting sand;

rises from, disappears into, One Ocean,

breaking the Silence of the unwritten Word.

Where Thoughts Come From?

Left: The Ouroboros, i.e. spirit-fire of the kundalini serpent, has now become 
the Halo of the Soul-Boundary, the "helmet of salvation" (Eph 6:17), above the 
head of discursive thinking and ego words. It is the "Word" or Light of unified
consciousness, risen up the spine (Caduceus) from the "seed of the Word", i.e.
the id or coiled energy of the sleeping serpent. Right: The alchemist emerges
from the swamp (reservoir of id energy or libido), having completed the 
alchemical process of refinement, through nigredo, albedo, and rubedo. Inside
his head or mind is the crystalline Orb or Boundary of the Soul, forged in the
fiery process of sublimating the id energy, through ego-defining ideas, into an
identity which is conSolidated into an eternal Individuality.

its own tail in unconscious waters, dreaming of a golden Ichthus.

Science and religion argue as to whether or not there is a God. This is a red herring because religion cannot prove it, and science cannot disprove it. Either way people get on with there lives. The real question to be answered is whether there is eternal life after death? This does have some scientific answers that we can extrapolate from using 4 established facts, 2 from physics and 2 from Freudian psychology. As will be seen, they all revolve around "energy," which is the prima materia or basic substance of alchemy:

1. The "law of conservation of energy" says that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only change its form.
2. E=MC2, means that energy and matter are the same.
3. The id (Latin it) is the unconscious foundation of awareness and the reservoir of all the instinctual energy flowing into ego consciousness, the "I".
4. According to conventional psychology, units of "object relations" in the young child fuse together to build an overall image or boundary of the self. Margaret Mahler, says: "As far as the self is concerned, there is a far-reaching structuralization of the ego in the course of which a stable sense of entity is attained." From, Psychic Birth of the Human Infant.

So to summarize these 4 scientific facts: eternal energy or life-force of the id, builds-up the conscious centre or boundary of an emerging ego, which in the course of childhood, slowly rises above the reservoir of  unconscious and instinctual energy. This conscious ideational structure of an intrapsychic body or core of energy, continues to grow and learn, reflecting on who she or he is, and their place in society.

The question now is whether or not this energy-body or core of self-consciousness can continue after death, or breaks back down into the diffuse and unconscious reservoir of primordial energy? This is where speculation and theory begins; but at least it is based on a factual premise, not on scientific distraction or religious dogma and superstition. The id can be tested to see if it has in fact been sealed, fixed, or integrated into a conscious Boundary that no-longer leaks its energy back into the undifferentiated matrix of the instincts.

The id is the subconscious reservoir of instinctual and eternal energy that underpins and feeds into the life of animals, humans, and ideas. In animals the id "acts out" its needs, fears, and desires directly in the field of nature. In humans the id has been partially sublimated or transformed into a conscious ego (Latin, "I"). This ego identity is formed by molding the energy of the id into self-defining ideas, which create the personality of a particular individual.

This person or ego identifies with the cultural opinions, memories, beliefs, conditioning, religion, laws, etc, of his or her society, formed over time by collectively molding the id-energy into these social mores. It is important to remember that ideas are very powerful and long-lasting, being composed of eternal id energy. At the individual level a single memory can last a lifetime, or be passed down through history for thousands of years. An idea can trigger off a war, or invent a rocket to the moon. The same creative force and long-lasting energy is used spiritually to mold a Soul-boundary or Light-body.

The next phase of the individuation process is to detach, or dis-identify the ego Boundary of consciousness from ego content, i.e. thoughts; keeping in mind that the suffix -ness implies a "state, condition, or quality." Humans become attached to their emotionally-charged and self-defining ideas, beliefs, notions etc; and letting them go is a difficult and painful process. Detachment from mental matter can feel like a death, especially in the case of an addiction to something or co-dependency on someone. It also brings the risk of whether or not this de-menting of ego content strengthens the Soul-boundary, or reverts the ego back into the id of instinctual subconsciousness?

But there are many examples to indicate that an individual can grow into a strong, free, and happy transcendent being, detached from family dysfunction, libidinal reactivity, instinctual behaviour, and egoic belief systems. The molding of eternal id energy into ideas that define an identity is a form of mind-magic that shapes our lives into a transcendent individual. This Soul-ness of an eternal Being, forged out of the energy of the id, uses the innate power of the mind to mold the plasticity of consciousness into ego content (i.e. ideas) and Boundary.

The content is de-mented or denuded by way of solitude, catharsis, meditation, old age, counselling, artistic expression, psychosis, sublimation, psychological catabolism, etc, which releases old emotionally-charged thought-patterns; and slowly increases the Light of the Word, which replaces the ego words of discursive thinking, and prevents us from going back into these old behaviour habits. Thus we slowly integrate the individuation process, becoming an individual Self. This process of immanence toward transcendence happens naturally as the conscious "I" emerges from the ocean/reservoir of the subconscious id, by way of libidinal inspiration, the fire of Kundalini rising.      

The rational element (air) only makes up 25% of intelligence, according to Jung; along with emotional (water), intuitional (fire), and visceral (earth) functions. Having rationalized a sound premise for the following poem, I can now unleash my visceral instinctuality in an effort to turn watery emotion into the intuitional Wine of the Gods.

The magical Ouroboros Halo, encircling the golden Disc of the Egyptian Sun, Ra, takes into its mouth its tail of the id, and transforms "it" into the I of ego consciousness, in the flaming head of the Serpent. But the process is not quite complete, because in the fire-forge of the solarizing head, a crystalline Orb or Gem of pure clarity emerges from the unstable ego, into a fixed or sealed Self-reflective Pearl, the quantum Solid of the Lapis Exillis, honed from the prima materia of the animal-spirit or id.

Ideal of the Eternal Soul.

Id energy of instinctual libido,

energizes behaviour from tip to toe;

enlivens desires, actions, and ideas,

inflates thought bubbles between the ears.

~

Id into ideas defining who I am,

energy entity of a hard-working man;

but I also have a feminine side,

now I'm confused as two worlds collide.

~

Identity changes along with the times,

energy is eternal, but alters its form;

plasticity of consciousness dawns,

from the days of fixed opinions olden.

~

Ideas can flow, beliefs can change,

from underneath  the Dragon burns;

it is the reservoir of life's battery,

the chthonic ground of instinctuality.

~

Ideation is thus born of the waters,

the first baptism that John performed;

and now that life is well integrated,

death is needed for a Soul completed.

~

Id energy transformed must be withdrawn,

deflated from thought bubbles ideational;

denuded, de-mented, cleansed with fire,

the second baptism of Christ's desire.

~

Id must undergo the exSpiration breath,

"I have come to bring fire on the earth";

holy Spirit aflame is the prelude to Light,

the "New Skin" of a Boundary sealed tight.

~

Id into the Ideal of an eternal Soul,

thoughtless Bubble in the mind to behold;

filled with mortido, the divine dark wind,

the death blow of transcendent freedom.

ConSolidating an Eternal Identity

In the Apocalypse of Moses, Adam, on his deathbed, sent Seth
into Paradise to get oil from the Tree of eternal Life, which the Angel
refuses him, but instead gives Seth 3 seeds (in some versions branches
 or herbs) which he put in his father's mouth. A tree grew from Adam's 
grave and its wood was used for the Cross of Christ.

ConSolidating an Eternal Identity.

~

The id of Adam's desire begins,

life's journey from primordial Eden;

horny Pan, innocent in Arcadia,

Green Man of the instinct reservoir.

~

The coiled energy "seed of Word,"

is planted in unconscious ground;

Adam dies, but from his mouth,

grew the Tree of Christ's sacrifice.

~

"I am the true vine," Jesus said,

"go and bear fruit that will last;"

golden Apple of the Hesperides,

seed to flower, green to gold.

~

Spirit mercury of inSpiration flows,

into a Sol-like Soul slowly grows;

solidifying the id into a Stone,

the quantum Solid of energy honed.

~

Ego awakes from subconsciousness,

like the Sun from watery depths;

energy Orb of our Star so plain,

for billions of years forever beams.

~

And even when it seems to die,

into a Black Hole it still survives;

lasting as long as the Universe,

spiral centre of a galactic nurse.

~

Space coalesces its power just so,

and "as above, so below" it goes;

energy of the id conSolidates,

from volatile into a fixed state.

~

"Lapis elevatus cum vento," formed,

the Stone uplifted by the storm;

fiery intuition of pneuma soars,

Wind into a sulphurous Lion roars.

Id into ego, swamp into clear pool,

inSpiration dawns a Self to behold;

portrait of a sunflowering mind,

Van Gogh, into eternity ever shines.

~

God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am,

and this will be "my forever name;"

forged in Burning Bush alchemy,

consciousness born from parted Sea.

~

But the proof is in the outcome;

can this new "I" resist temptation?

Life, as always will put to test,

the conSolidation of the instincts.

~

Will It revert to "acting out" again,

if issues arise to surface tension;

or will the conscious boundary hold,

secure in fixed sulphur of the Soul.

~

The rider of the dragon tamed,

flies above emotional ideas aflame;

Pearl of transcendence to the fore,

fire-forged and strong for evermore.

Id is a quantum-field battery,
the supply of all life's energy;
it energizes animals and humans,
even our beliefs and opinions.

Ego thinks by drawing-up libido,
the energy-source forever at flow;
molds it into a self-defining idea,
magically an individual appears.

We conjure-up thoughts so powerful,
memories can last until we're old;
why not conSolidate a Soul-Form,
from id into an Identity ever born.

The id's "old wine skin" will be shed,

replaced by a golden fleece instead;

A Spirit-Sword, the Word of Heaven.

And so the mortal coil is sprung,
nature's energy-potential grown;
into Christ, Rock of Ages eternal,
diamond Mind of adamas steeled.

Energy of Nothingness refined,
crystallized into a Soul divine;
from Salt to Sol by way of Lunar,
the invincible weapon, Excalibur.

The ineffable Word of who I am,
fingerprint of God passed to Adam;
etched into nature to be decoded,
spiral, wave, and particle gilded.

Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:17).

The sword of the Spirit which came out of the mouth of Christ (Rev 1:16)
i.e. the "Word" made conscious, is now a weapon that replaces human words
(beliefs, dogma, ideas, judgement, discursive thinking, etc) and can be wielded
as the central point or focusing power of consciousness. The Halo (helmet) is
the Soul-Boundary, mentally molded from Jesus' "seed of the Word", i.e. the
magic energy of the id, into ideas that define the ego identity, which are then
denuded to create the Halo of individuality, the new Boundary of the Self.

The Kris sword from matter drawn, a suitable symbol for life eternal; the
Word pointing and waving as a quantum and invincible weapon; stabbing
darkness with light, dismembering the limbs of the manifold monster,
destroying death, and re-establishing the peace and meaning of the 
ineffable Word extracted from the world.

The Quantum Solid

Prologue; defining the quantum Sol-id: The Stone that has 
been lifted on high by sublimating and refining the fixed and
instinctual animal-spirit (id), through the active and volatile
Spirit of mercury, into the fixed and eternal Soul (Sol).

About 100 years ago scientists encountered quantum space;
then in the 1990's they distilled a quantum liquid in a vacuum
at absolute zero, called the Bose-Einstein condensate, the
quintessence of science. The next logical step is a quantum
Solid, which the alchemists called the Lapis Philosophorum,
the Philosopher's Stone. This Sol-id is the solidified instinctual
spirit of Pan (the id), transmuted, horns into Crown, green into
Gold (Sol), the Solarization of consciousness; sol.id.ifying the
All into the singularity of the One.

waving in eternal space, according to the
law of "conservation of energy."

Prima Mater, Mother of all wombs,

the Void, from birth to the tomb;

death itself is her sweet demise,

the release from this world of lies.

From her the prima materia arises,

Salt of the earth in all its guises;

the life-force that animates all things;

libidinal desire that lifts our wings.

It is therefore the instinctual id,
the fallen spirit in matter fixed;

basic seed-ingredient of alchemy,

the spark behind mythological dreams.

~

Mercury is the alchemist's fiery Pet,

the Serpent from salt-watery depths;

the unconscious realm of this Spirit,

brought to surface in order to tame it.

~

Mercurial Dragon contains holy fire,

without it there is no getting higher;

it rises up the staff of the spine,

Caduceus with two Snakes entwined.

~

Thus to the Moon our Spirit arrives,

reflecting the Sun, lifting the tides;

joining together Earth and Heaven,

Salt to Silver becomes yellow Lion.

~

Luna gives birth to the golden King,

Sulphur of the Soul's light blazing;

born of the Dragon of Mercury,

the Pearl of truth that sets us free.

the clarity of Solarized consciousness;

The Word of Love

Dionysus, the divine Filius, drinks the 

refined Holy Spirit of elemental Wine.

"The seed is the Word of God." (Luke 8:11).

The "Word" of Love,

and how its seed grows into

the divine Child.

The first language of all human beings,

and the one we revert to when all else fails,

is the visceral function of "acting out";

to get our needs met we scream and shout!

~

The Word of God inSpires all of us,

its seed is planted in unconsciousness;

it grows the true Vine toward the Fruit,

the Wine of Love born from its roots.

~

But we must learn the language of the Word,

the Voice of Silence everywhere heard;

emotional desire flowers forth its passion,

to be at One in Love's reconciliation.

~

For the seed has fallen into darkness,

and must climb the Tree of  life's opposites;

good and evil knowledge are its branches,

to reach the top where the Angel dances.

~

The rational mind helps to figure it out,

understand what human ignorance is all about;

time ages and refines the Holy Wine,

from unconscious waters sublimated sublime.

~

Artistic expression of the Spirit's intuition,

paints the Word, fires the imagination;

poetry set in motion by madness divine,

reveals the revelation of the drunken Child.

~

Elemental earth, water, air, and fire,

bloom Love's Word into the golden Flower; 

visceral, emotional, rational, intuitional tongues,

all work together to join back into One.

Carl Jung's cognitive functions are defined as different ways of perceiving and judging. 

They are defined as "sensation", "feeling", "thinking" and "intuition". (Wikipedia).

These 4 functions correspond with the 4 elements of earth, water, air, and fire.

God Seed, God-zilla, GodSelf.

according to mythology,

that God planted God,

in earth as the "Seed of Word."

Orphic Egg, Magic Bean,

the Stone of philosophy;

imperfect seed of the Pearl,

in unconscious waters swirls.

Enter the alchemical Ouroboros,

God's spirit inside all of us;

Seed into a Serpent swells,

Dragon and her Pearl unfurls.

The Leviathan that saveth,

Quetzalcoatl and the shaman;

God-zilla from unconscious depths,

all represent the fiery Beast.

~

Instinctual Creature in our minds,

sprouts wings, sublimates sublime;

into the air it wants to fly,

to free the Orb, Pearl divine.

God's Snake in the Garden,

climbs the Tree of good and bad times;

until the Star atop the Bush,

emerges as the Serpent's wish.
